VFX I created for the 2022 Netflix + Hyper Hippo mobile game Dungeon Dwarves. There are five main characters in the game and each has a special ability, which can be triggered frequently. These effects had to be fairly quick and light, as the player is able to trigger all five of them at once in some cases, which is in addition to the other VFX and animation playing elsewhere in the game. For Dungeon Dwarves, we wanted a lighthearted and fun aesthetic, so I leaned towards larger solid shapes in the VFX, with just enough glow and sparkle to keep things interesting.
