A modular character rig for an unannounced mobile project by Hyper Hippo Entertainment.
For this project we needed to support the creation of many characters with a small team, so I designed a rig that was highly modular and reusable. A base rig could have components added to it (wings, tails, pincers, etc) as needed, and all of the base animations could be applied to any character using the rig, even if their proportions or specific placement of limbs was different, which allowed us to re-use a small library of animations across many unique characters.
